OUR STORY
My name is Stacia, I am a wife and mother to three kiddos. We are a family of five living in a household of nap schedules, play dates, and sticky fingers.
Growing up my siblings and I enjoyed our family growth chart ruler. We made a lot of great memories watching each other grow over the years. It always turned into a fun competition to see which one of us had grown the most from month to month.
I started this business in 2016 after searching for a growth chart ruler for my nephew and my own children. I realized in my search for the "perfect" ruler I wanted certain details that were difficult to find. I decided to tap into my creative side and make something truly special my nephew and kid's could enjoy and start making their "own" memories with. After making a ruler for my nephew's birthday word spread and I continued to make them for others. At the same time I was contemplating going back to my career in marketing once my twins' started school. With the loving support of my husband I made the decision to start my own business and Birch Designs (formerly K + F Designs) was created.
I have always enjoyed making beautiful things for others and Birch Designs has deemed to be a dream of mine because I am able to make a keepsake that families can cherish for years to come.
I am now designing and creating each ruler in my home studio in Metairie right outside of New Orleans, LA. I believe in producing a quality product that will last for years. Each ruler is checked over and finished to the utmost quality to make sure every detail is perfect as if I were making them for my own kid's to enjoy.
